Hello,
I was recently asked by a colleague as to whether I was aware of any known averages for human perspiration for example the average perspiration/sweat rate of an individual per cm sq etc.
I was unable to help them at the time, and my initial feeling was that it would be extremely difficult to measure or give an average value for perspiration due to the differing rates of perspiration around the body, between individuals and taking all other factors into consideration such as height, weight, level of fitness, resting heart rate as well as cultural effects.
If anybody has any thoughts or information on the matter I would be delighted to hear from them. I will be happy to post a summary of the response's if anybody is interested.
