    Postdoctoral Fellow
    Musculoskeletal Modeling and Simulation

    The Biomechanics Laboratory at the Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland
    Clinic Foundation, has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow. The position
    will focus on musculoskeletal modeling and simulation of human movement.
    Current research projects include: effect of neuromuscular control and
    protective equipment on prevention of musculoskeletal injury, and
    modeling of control systems for posture and gait.

    The successful candidate will work on simulation of ankle sprains and heel
    fractures during landing movements, as well as participate in other
    ongoing research. There will be opportunities to develop new research
    interests. The candidate will be expected to present their work at
    scientific meetings and publish in scientific journals.

    Required qualifications:
    - PhD in mechanical engineering or biomechanics
    - Experience in 3-D movement analysis, forward dynamics, and/or
    musculoskeletal modeling
    - Programming experience, preferably C and Matlab

    Start date and salary are negotiable. Non-US citizens may apply.
