  • Seeking a Sabbatical Position

    Dear Biomech-L subscribers:

I am an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering
at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana, USA.
I am planning to take a sabbatical from my position here at Rose-
Hulman from September 1993 to August 1994. I am seeking a one year
position in the field of biomechanics somewhere outside of the U.S.
Rose-Hulman will pay one-half of my salary during this sabbatical
    year.

My native language is English and I speak German and worked as a
"Praktikant" in Boeblingen, Germany in the summer of 1985.

I teach several graduate courses in biomedical engineering including
one course in Medical Instrumentation, one in Biomedical Fluid
    Mechanics and one in Biomechanics.

I have a broad range of interests and am interested in expanding my
areas of expertise. Therefore, I would consider a position in almost
    any area of biomechanics.

If you have a one year opening for a PhD biomedical engineer, or if
you know of such an opening, I would be most grateful if you would
    reply to me at:

    Waite@ME.Rose-Hulman.Edu

and I will send a full copy of my curriculum vitae.

Thanks very much for you help.

    Sincerely,

    Lee Waite, PE, PhD
