POST DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWS
FIXED TERM (TWO YEARS)
UNIVERSITY OF WOLLONGONG, AUSTRALIA
The Intelligent Polymer Research Institute (IPRI), in conjunction with
the Biomechanics Research Laboratory, at the University of Wollongong,
currently has opportunities for two post doctoral research fellows to
work on the Smart Bra project – sponsored by Marks & Spencer, UK.
Applicants should possess a PhD in Materials Science/Engineering or
Biomechanics.
PHD SCHOLARSHIPS
PhD scholarships for $20,000 per annum are also available plus a $4,000
travel fellowship to work in the laboratories of one of our
collaborators in the USA, Japan, Korea, Italy, Germany, France, Ireland
and the UK. Some scholarships will commence immediately, others will
commence later in 2001. A scholarship funded by CSIRO Textile and Fibre
Technology is available for work on Intelligent Textiles, based in part
at CSIRO’s Geelong Laboratories.
