The University of Mississippi, Department of Exercise Science and Leisure
Management, has a full time tenure track position within the Division of
Exercise Science beginning August 2001. Qualified applicants should have
1)a doctorate in Exercise Science or related field with an emphasis in
neural and/or muscular physiology; 2) teaching ability in the field; 3) a
publication and grant record commensurate with experience. Responsibilities
of this position include, but are not limited to: 1) teaching undergraduate
and graduate classes in one or more of the following: motor control,
kinesiology, biomechanics, and/or research methods. 2) conducting and
publishing scholarly research. 3) advising undergraduate and graduate
students. 4) participating in development of theses and dissertations. 5)
pursuing competitive peer reviewed external funding 6) engaging in
departmental, university, and professional service activities. The Division
of Exercise Science offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Exercise Science.
Review of complete applications will begin immediately and will continue
until adequate applicant pool is reached. Send letter of application,
