Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a graduate student with an emphasis in Biomechanics. I am
considering a research project examining anticipatory postural adjustment
during bimanual lifting (in terms of three lifting postures). As a
biomechanics student, I am interested in examining what are the important
factors of anticipation from a mechanical perspective. In other words, I
would like to contrast a mechanistic with a control/planning perspective.
I have found several articles written by biomechanists and ergonomicist,
but would like to find more references. If someone could direct me to any
related references and also inform me of any approaches based on mechanics
or general approaches to these issues, it would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
