I have not seen the book, but the contents certainly look interesting.
It is great to have access to these classical papers.

Featuring commentary from more than 13 contemporary authorities in the field
of movement science, Classics in Movement Science, from Human Kinetics,
provides a unique approach to understanding the works and wisdom of the past.
Edited by two experts in the field-Mark L. Latash, PhD, and Vladimir M.
Zatsiorsky, PhD-the text is the only one of its kind available today. It
contains 13 classical papers representing the thinking of great scientists
of the past who worked in areas now associated with biomechanics,
neurophysiology of movement, and motor control.
The editors combine each paper with subjective analysis by a contemporary
authority in movement science. The unique format brings together a variety
of old and new perspectives and provides readers with an understanding of
the influential scientist as well as his or her contemporary counterpart.
The book presents each classical paper in its entirety or provides a
significant excerpt or quotation. Students and scholars of movement science
can read-without concern about misrepresentation-the ideas expressed by
Woodworth, Hill, Sherrington, Bernstein, Fenn, Hughlings Jackson,
Denny-Brown, and others.
Mark L. Latash, PhD, is a professor of kinesiology at Penn State University.
Since the 1970s he has worked extensively in the areas of normal and
disordered motor control. He is the author of Neurophysiological Basis of
Movement and Control of Human Movement and the editor of Progress in Motor
Control, volume 1, and the journal Motor Control. He also translated
Bernstein's classic On Dexterity and Its Development in 1996. He has written
more than 100 papers published in refereed journals.
Vladimir M. Zatsiorsky, PhD, is an expert in the biomechanics of human
motion. He has been a professor in the department of kinesiology at Penn
State University since 1991 and is the director of the university's
biomechanics laboratory. Before coming to North America in 1990, Dr.
Zatsiorsky served as professor and chair of the department of biomechanics
at the Central Institute of Physical Culture in Moscow. He has received
several awards for his achievements, including the Geoffrey Dyson Award from
the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports (the society's highest
honor).
