Postdoctoral Position
Muscle Physiology Laboratory
West Virginia University
One Postdoctoral Position is currently available for a highly motivated
individual to study the mechanisms and outcomes of muscle strain injury
in rats in vivo. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and
they must demonstrate the capability to work independently and have a
background in biochemistry, neuroscience, exercise physiology or
physiology. Experience in immunohistochemistry and molecular biological
techniques is preferred along with knowledge of fibrogenic cytokine
biology and inflammation. Interested individuals should send a
curriculum vitae, a brief summary of research experience and interest,
and three letters of reference by June 15, 2001 to: William T. Stauber,
