********** FINAL CALL FOR IFESS MILLENNIUM PAPER COMMENTARY **********

Open Commentary Invited for IFESS 2001 Millennium Papers

    CLOSES JUNE 1, 2001

In conjunction with the 6th Annual Conference of the International FES
Society (IFESS 2001), a series of six Millennium Papers have been written
(see details below) and are now posted on the conference web page
    (http://feswww.fes.cwru.edu/ifess/papers/index.htm).

Visit the site, read the papers, and post your commentaries on one or more
of the papers. These commentaries, along with a written summary of the
discussions at the IFESS 2001 conference, will be edited and included along
with the original papers in the Fall 2001 edition of Neuromodulation, the
official journal of IFESS. We hope that these papers and the accompanying
commentaries will provoke useful discussions that lead to significant
advancements in the field of neuroprostheses in the coming years.

To post your comments, follow the directions on the web page. You will be
able to read the comments of others, but please do not focus your
commentary on some else's comments - we would much prefer your own comments
on the original paper. We are looking for constructive criticism - personal
attacks and commercial advertising are not appropriate and will be removed
from the posted commentaries. The conference organizers reserve the right
to edit the commentaries for content and clarity. The final published
commentaries may be compiled into a summary if appropriate.
