Duties: Accountable for the provision of a specialised sports biomechanics
service to assigned South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) and Australian
Institute of Sport (AIS) coaches and athletes, related professionals and
professional organisations. This position involves a close working
relationship with coaches, athletes and sports science staff. Central to
this position is the need to import and implement new concepts and
technology in order to develop cutting edge programs in sports biomechanics,
resulting in an improved biomechanical preparation for sporting excellence,
in accordance with the aims and objectives of SASI.
Essential Minimum Qualifications: Possession of an appropriate degree in
sports science or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications: Possession of a post-graduate degree specialising
in biomechanics.
Special Conditions: Frequent out of hours work, some inter and intrastate
travel is required. Possession of a current driver's licence is essential.
