Have you seen the thesis of Dr. Frans C.T. van der Helm who
studied numerous shoulder girdle muscles? The only publication which I have
seen come from that thesis is J. Biomech. 24:615-629 (1991). In his thesis,
he reports a PCSA for the Lattisimus as 8.52 cm2 (page 107). This paper is list
ed
as "submitted" to J. Biomech. Let me know if you need more detail.
