FACULTY OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY STUDIES
Position:Three-year term appointment at the rank of Laboratory
Instructor II
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience and based on
the current collective agreement.
Qualifications: Applicants must possess a M.Sc. in Kinesiology,
Exercise Science or the equivalent. Certification as a Professional
Fitness and Lifestyle Consultant or Exercise Specialist is preferred.
Appt. Date: October 2001
Duties: Duties include working with faculty members to develop course
and laboratory material, instruction and supervision of laboratory
sessions, and supervising student assistants in the areas of anatomy,
physiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and fitness assessment.
The Laboratory Instructor will also be responsible for all operational
aspects for the effective operation of the three human performance
laboratories.
Deadline for receipt of applications is September 15, 2001.
Applications consisting of a curriculum vitae; copies of transcripts;
and arrange for the forwarding of three letters of reference submitted
