position:
RESEARCH SCIENTIST (Biomechanics), Position No. 118
Duties: Assist the elite sport programmes with biomechanical information
concerning technique and equipment. This service will generally involve
short term applied research projects. Assist medical staff with biomecha-
nical analysis to determine mechanisms of injury.
Qualifications/Experience: Ph.D. in biomechanics, with experience in working
with sports people highly desirable. Scientific research ability required.
Salary: Austr. $ 31,003 - $ 38,045 p.a. (effective value approximately equal
to US $; exchange rate Austr. $ 1.00 = US $ 0.80).
