We've been developing software to calculate external knee moments in
the frontal plane, using kinematic camera measurements and forceplate
measurements, for tibial osteotomy patients. We're trying to validate
our model using normal subjects but have found that calculated
ab/adductor moments are highly variable between subjects (some people
have abductor and adductor moments acting about the knee during their
gait cycle while others just have adductor moments). If anyone has
any useful suggestions for references or comments on the above, they
