Simulation, just close to the ISB Congress.
It will be a scientific and technical meeting for investigators of
Computer simulation in various fields of Biomechanics.
TOPICS
The selected topics are:
COMPUTER SIMULATION in:MUSCULO-SKELETAL
BIOMECHANICSCARDIO-VASCULAR AND RESPIRATORY BIOMECHANICS
MECHANICS OF TISSUES AND BIOMATERIALS
MOVEMENT BIOMECHANICS
The Program will include:
*- Oral presentations, (15 mn each one, followed by discussion at the end of
each session).
*- Workshops/demos with participants' soft on PC and Workstations,
*- Two Round tables leaded and moderated by well known contributors in the
fields of basic problems in Computer Simulation, and Validation of
Simulation Procedures.

INSTRUCTION TO THE AUTHORS
Papers on any aspect of computer simulation or optimisation in
Biomechanics may be written in english.
They have to be submitted before FEBRUARY 15th 1993 according the
following details.
Each submission is to represent original work that has not been
published elsewhere. The paper may report results from pilot studies which
may be leading to a journal publication.
The four-page paper in format A4 would normally include the following
sections: an introduction, a brief review of relevant literature, an
explanation of the data collection and processing methods, results of the
study (which may be in graphical or tabular form), and a discussion of your
results with a comparison to other studies.
The texts may be submitted in the following formats:
- A file on a flexible DOS disk with no special formatting characters in
the text. This file may be an ASCII ("text only") file or a WINWORD file.
- A good quality printed or typed paper in the format outlined, with
figures and equations submitted as line drawing or black and white glossy
photographs to size. (Do not use typethat simulates script).
Additional instructions will be provided by Fax, Air mailed
announcement, or if requested by Email.
