Announcement of Faculty Opening:
Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Exercise: Open Rank, Tenure Track. Doctoral
degree from an accredited institution with central focus relevant to the
position: experience teaching hands-on, clinical rehabilitation exercise,
and other courses needed by the department; identifiable program of research
in neuromuscular rehabilitation exercise; clinical experience working in a
long-term, neuromuscular rehabilitation exercise program; interest in
working closely with current faculty in mobility training and rehabilitation
engineering; experience interfacing with people and agencies in surrounding
communities; experience guiding student research in areas of expertise;
experience seeking external funds through grants and contracts; demonstrated
ability and/or interest in working in a multi-ethnic, multicultural
environment.
Salary, rank, and possible tenure commensurate with experience. Review of
complete applications begins November 5, 2001 and continues until positions
are filled. If unable to fill, may revert to a temporary appointment.
Employment contingent upon of proof of eligibility to work in the United
