    Research Coordinator/Physical Therapist

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual with both research and
    clinical experience to serve as the Research Coordinator for an ongoing
    research program in Lexington, KY. This is a unique opportunity for
    someone desiring a position that allows them to remain clinically active
    while engaging in a number of research endeavors. This position entails
    spending 20 hrs/week coordinating research projects focused in the area
    of neuromuscular and biomechanical factors associated with lower
    extremity injuries. There is a particular focus on the topic of gender
    bias associated with ACL injuries. Close research collaborations are
    currently ongoing with The Kentucky Sports Medicine Clinic as well as
    the University of Kentucky Biodynamics Laboratory. In addition, a
    multicenter study with Kentucky Sports Medicine, The Lexington Clinic
    and the University of Kentucky is currently underway. The Research
    Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Research to
    facilitate the research process from the development of research and IRB
    proposals, overseeing data collection, assisting with data analysis and
    abstract and manuscript preparation. In addition, they will provide
    mentorship of orthopedic fellows in the area of research. The remaining
    20 hrs/week will be spent in clinical practice in a well established
    orthopedic and sports physical therapy center.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Masters Degree (research thesis required)
    3 yrs of clinical practice as a licensed physical therapist (license
    should be current)

    Preference will be given to those with active research experience as
    evidenced by publications, presentations at scientific meetings and
    involvement in scientific organizations.
