  • Wound bed pressures

    Hi folks,

I would appreciate your thoughts regarding determination/mapping of
stresses/strains experienced in a wound bed, ideally under a wound-dressing
and both at and below the bed-surface (to see how deep into the tissues
treatments such as vacuum therapy have an effect). I have followed with
interest the response to Raj Mootanah's question pertaining to intra-occular
pressure measurement and also checked the archives and Medline but haven't
found much specifically to wound beds.

    Thanks in advance,
    Deepak
