    Dear Biomch-L Readers,

    The following is the announcement for one immediate job opening within our
    Department of Anatomy located at the Faculty of Medicine (University of
    Brussels, ULB, www.ulb.ac.be).

    The selected candidate will work within the MULTIMOD project frame
    (european funded project, www.ior.it/multimod). It will be close to
    another european project called VAKHUM (www.ulb.ac.be/project/vakhum).

    The contract will last at least 30 months, full time, starting from now.

    Salary will be according to the level of expertise offered by the candidate.

    ** Responsabilities will include:

    - Development of a sofware interface in collaboration with other partners
    working on the project: The candidate will be responsible for
    establishing the users' specifications within a clinical and pedagogical
    frame, and to communicate it to the partners in charge of the software
    development.

    - Elaboration and writing of clinically oriented anatomical tutorials in
    collaboration with ULB semiology, radiology and anatomy people.

    - Participation to laboratory experiments.

    ** We are looking for one candidate with the following profile:

    - Medical backgroung is required (physiotherapist, medical doctors, ...).
    Candidates with a technical backgroung (e.g. mechanical engineer) are also
    welcome to apply, but they should show extensive experience and knowledge
    in both clinical and anatomical environment.

    - Post-graduated level (Msc or Phd).

    - Very easy communication will be one of the main factors of selection.

    - The candidate should be fluent in both french (reading+writing+speaking)
    and english (reading+writing).

    - The candidate should be familiar with basic computer use (word
    processing, spreadsheets, emails and so on ...).

    - Althought no computer programming skill is required, some computer programming
    knowledge is welcome.

    - The candidate should be motivated to participate actively in the
    development of clinical tutorials using the new technology developed
    within the MULTIMOD project. Therefore, pedagogical vocation and taste are
    certainly important advantages.

    - Priority will be given to citizens of the European Union (EU), or to
    non-EU citizens with a valid workpermit.

    - As required by our University rules, no selection based on race and/or
    gender will be performed.

    If possible, at least 2 references about past experience.
