    Biomechanist Position in Pediatric Motion Analysis Lab

    Shriners Hospitals for Children, Philadelphia, PA, is a leading
    pediatric hospital specializing in the treatment of children with
    neuromuscular disorders including spinal cord injury and cerebral palsy. We
    are seeking qualified applicants for a dynamic position in our Motion
    Analysis Laboratory.

    An M.S. level position is now available at Shriners Hospitals for
    Children, Philadelphia, PA. A Master's degree in Biomechanics, Biomedical
    Engineering, Kinesiology or related field is necessary. Applicants must
    have experience with the VICON motion analysis system. Matlab and C++
    programming experience a plus. Applicants should demonstrate strong
    organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently
    and a strong desire to carry out clinical research. The position involves
    carrying out all aspects of kinematic, kinetic and EMG data collection and
    analysis using a VICON motion capture system with children with various
    neuromuscular disabilities for numerous research studies. Biomechanical
    model development and research protocol development are also key aspects of
