in Sports Medicine at Rice University
The Kinesiology Department and Rice University are strongly committed

RANK: Full-time Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Kinesiology
APPOINTMENT: Begins July 1, 2002
QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate in sports medicine, exercise
science, kinesiology or related field
Evidence of quality research in sports medicine including
external funding
Evidence of effective teaching experience
Experience conducting clinical activities/programs and ACSM
certification preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES: Position requires a strong commitment to
research, grant writing and teaching in the undergraduate program of
sports medicine
Perform committee work and student advising in sports medicine
Direct Exercise Testing and Prescription Lab
APPLICATION DEADLINE: January 15, 2002 or until qualified candidate
is selected
