Hello,
I'm just starting a research project to investigate the failure mechanisms
of ankle endoprostheses, and I need some information on the following
i) Where can I obtain some ankle prostheses?. I've tried most of the
major orthopaedic manufacturers, with little success. I know from the
literature on clinical trials that many designs have been implanted over
the years, but none of the papers name the manufacturer!
ii) I'll also be doing some finite element modelling of the ankle joint
and was wondering if anybody knows of or has either CT or NMR images of
an ankle, which I could use to help generate a model.
