    Good Afternoon!

I have two faculty positions open, and I have an ad that I'd like to place
on your website, as well as the ISB website. Will you post it for me?

Thanks in advance for your help!
    Mart

    Here's the ad:

    The University of Iowa
    Department of Biomedical Engineering

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa invites
applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in the area of
musculoskeletal biomechanics with emphasis on (1) spine biomechanics; and
    (2) cartilage biomechanics and/or image-guided surgery. The successful
candidates will have a primary appointment in the Department of Biomedical
Engineering with joint appointments in the Department of Orthopaedic
Surgery and the Department of Neurosurgery in the College of Medicine, and
the Center for Computer-aided Design (CCAD) in the College of Engineering,
as appropriate. The candidates will be anticipated to enhance
collaborative research with the Departments of Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic
Surgery and other basic and clinical departments in the College of
Medicine, and CCAD. The successful candidates are expected to engage in
externally sponsored research, supervise graduate students and to teach and
develop undergraduate and graduate courses in their areas of
specialization. The appointment will generally be at the Assistant
Professor level, even though higher rank will be considered for candidates
with exceptional qualifications. The candidates should have received a
Ph.D. or equivalent degree in engineering or a related discipline. The
Department of Biomedical Engineering, with a dynamic educational and
research environment, offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees and has about 250
undergraduate and 40 graduate students, and 12 full-time faculty. The BME
    undergraduate program is fully accredited.

Applications received by March 15, 2002 will receive full consideration and
the search will continue until both positions are filled. Candidates
should provide a curriculum vitae, a summary of current research and
teaching experience, and a list of three professional references to: Chair,
