After over 30 years at the University of Waterloo, Bob Norman will be retiring
at the end of February. In honour of his contributions to the University, International Biomechanics
and Ergonomics, we will be hosting events on Friday, March 1, 2002. The celebration will begin at
1:30 p.m. with a symposium of speakers that will chronicle his academic/scientific achievements.
A dinner and party will follow at the Conestogo Golf and Country Club (cost $30 per person).
To assist in our preparation, please RSVP to Darlene Garside, secretary in ESCS
(her e-mail is: dgarside@uwaterloo.ca and her phone number is(519) 885-4567, extension 5513).
We will contact you with further information.
For those wishing to provide anecdotes please do so; we will ensure that they will be used
to the full extent of the law.
Those wishing to extend well wishes can e-mail them to Darlene. They will be assembled, bound
and presented to Dr. Norman at the dinner that evening.
Cheers,
Mardy
