The EPSRC sponsored Medical and Life Sciences Engineering Masters
Training Package together with the British Orthopaedic Reseaarch Society
have developed a one day CPD course on the theme of Total Joint
Replacement. Faculty members include:
Prof Ian Learmonth, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, BRI
Prof John Fisher, PVC Research, University of Leeds
Prof Tom Brown, Director, Orthopaedic Research, University of Iowa
Mr Oliver Wells, Association of British Health-care Industries.
Mr Andy Crosbie, Medical Devices Agency
The course will be of interest to a range of personnel from the medical
device industry including surgeons, marketing staff and bioengineers as
well as academics.
