I am a graduate student at the University of Tennessee working on my PhD in
anthropology. I am interested in the evolution of bipedality, and as a model
for early hominid bipedality I would like to investigate this locomotor mode
in chimpanzees. I have been unable to find data concerning segment weight,
segment center of mass, and segment radius of gyration for chimpanzees to
calculate total center of mass during bipedal walking. If anyone knows where
I might find such data could you please let me know. Thank you in advance
