POST-DOC RESEARCH POSITION
Dear Colleagues:
We have one or two post-doctoral positions available for computational
fluid and solid mechanics related to the cardiovascular system, by a
grant from the Japan Science and Technology Corporation (JST-ACT)
subsidiary to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and
Technology, effective as early as April 1, 2002.
The Fellow will take a leading role in the execution of the newly
provided Japanese Government grant to develop a computational mechanics
application to the clinical cardiovascular medicine. Experience and
expertise in the image based modeling (such as MR and ultrasound) of
the larger cardiovascular structures (the heart, aorta and large
arteries) and the computational fluid or solid mechanical analysis
shall be highly appreciated. Salary is competitive. Travel allowances
to/from Japan will be paid. Though the fellowship is of an annual
contraction base, further extension is negotiable.
