Applications are invited for a post-doctoral fellowship to study the
integration of sensory and motor systems that contribute to dynamic balance
during functional activities. Current work examines visual and vestibular
mechanisms responsible for dynamic balance during walking. Of particular
interest are adaptations in these mechanisms that occur with age and
vestibular dysfunction.
The successful applicant will participate in ongoing projects and develop
related projects of their own interest. Opportunities exist for
collaboration with the Otolaryngology Department, and the UTMB Sealy Center
on Aging.
