The 8th biannual Conference of the
INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR FRACTURE REPAIR
October 9 ? 11, 2002, Toronto, Canada
The goal of the 8th Conference of the ISFR is to discuss and develop new
strategies for the treatment of patients with fractures. The 2002 Conference
will provide an opportunity to meet and present important new work at an
international forum. The three day Conference will partially overlap the 2002
annual meeting of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) which is being held
at the same venue.
###### Program ########################
The scope of Conference covers all aspects of research on fracture healing.
Besides podium presentations and poster sessions there will be invited papers on
intriguing topics in fracture research.
Key topics of the Conference will include:
* Experimental Studies
* Clinical Studies
* Cell culture studies
* Delayed Unions
* Osteoporotic fractures
* Biomechanics of fracture healing
* Biology of fracture healing

###### Abstracts ########################
Abstracts will be considered on the basis of originality and quality, which will
be assessed by an international board of reviewers.
Abstract deadline is March 01, 2002.
