  • Mechanical Properties of BUTYL Rubber

    Dear BIOMCH-L members,

I am looking for the mechanical properties of BUTYL rubber, which is
commonly used in crash test dummy, for example, Hybrid III 6-year-old and
    50th percentile adult dummies.

For MAT_BLATZ-KO_RUBBER in LS-DYNA3D, the mechanical properties are mass
density and shear modulus. For MAT_MOONEY-RIVLIN_RUBBER, many other
properties are required. But basically, if mass density and shear modulus
could be found on web or some other references, it could be very helpful.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    /Jun
