Dear Biomch-L Colleagues:
The Orthopaedic Biomechanics Group at the Maurice E. Mueller Institute for
Biomechanics is currently looking for two qualified candidates for Ph.D.
positions in Orthopaedic Engineering.
The candidates should have a basic education with a MS., Dipl. Ing., or
equivalent degree in one of the following areas: Mechanical Engineering, Civil
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science . Additional experience
in clinical biomechanics would be advantageous.
Currently, the research of our group encompasses spine biomechanics,
mathematical and numerical modelling (e.g. Solid Mechanics, FEM), design and
evaluation of implants, and computer assisted surgery.
