2003 SUMMER BIOENGINEERING CONFERENCE
First Announcement
We are pleased to announce that the 2003 Summer Bioengineering
Conference dates and venue are now set. After several successful
meetings at summer mountain resorts (most recently in Snowbird, Utah in
2001), and based on the surveys of the meeting participants last year,
we are going to the beach! Please mark your calendars as the 2003
Summer Bioengineering Conference will be held at:

Florida
June 25 - June 29, 2003
This four diamond award-winning resort, set on ten oceanfront acres,
offers the atmosphere of a tranquil tropical island, yet is only a
bridge away from the excitement of Miami, Florida for night life and
shopping. Information on this newly renovated facility is available at
www.sonesta.com/keybiscayne/. As in the past, the meeting will feature
a student-friendly casual atmosphere with outstanding plenary speakers,
original science, educational opportunities, and free time to enjoy the
venue. This site is well known for its charming village and quaint
shops, golf, tennis, spa and salon, children’s program, Olympic-size
pool, water sports, and yes, a spectacular beach! The abstract deadline
will be in December 2002 and more information will follow. For now,
