  • Achilles tendon laceration in a child

If the surgical repair was done correctly, and the post-operative protocol was carried out properly, an 8 year old child with an Achilles tendon laceration would be expected to be fully healed, without any activity restrictions, within six months of the surgical repair.

    Hope this helps.

    Sincerely,

    Kevin
