  • Looking for used Instron or equivalent system for orthopaedicresearch

    Dear Biomch-L readers,

I am an orthopaedic resident at the University of Massachusetts Medical
Center. We are looking for an Instron or equivalent system that we could use
for testing of fracture fixation systems (interfragmentary screw, plate and
screw, intramedullary rods, etc). I would appreciate any and all input
regarding what specific system would be most appropriate, and where we might
be able to locate one. We have a very limited budget with which to acquire
    one.

    Thank you for your help.
