  • ESMAC2002-Extension of the deadline for abstract submission

    0100,0100,0100Dear All,



    In view the many personal requests we received over the last days,
    we would like to announce that the deadline set for abstract
    submission for ESMAC2002 has been extended till May 12th
    2002. This years annual meeting of the European Society for
    Movement analysis in Adults and Children will take place from 19
    to 21 september 2002 in Leuven (Belgium).


    The organizing committee of ESMAC2002 is pleased to invite you
    to submit papers for oral or poster presentations at the conference.



    Topics


    1.Use of Movement analysis in the study of motor control during
    normal and pathological gait.

    2.Clinical Decision Making based on Movement Analysis Data.

    3.Evidence Based Medicine based on Movement Analysis (Tone
    Reduction - Surgical Interventions - Physiotherapy - Orthotics).

    4.Movement analysis in specific patient groups (Adult stroke -
    Multiple sclerosis - Spina Bifida - Spinal Cord Injury - Parkinson -
    Cerebral Palsy - Amputee - Elderly).

    5.Recent methodological developments related to Movement
    Analysis.

    6.Other Movement Analysis Applications (Posturography - Upper

    limb/Spine evaluation - Ergonomics - Sports)


    Oral presentations will take 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of
    discussion time. Separate poster sessions will be integrated in the
    program. Posters will be on display during the whole conference.


    Abstracts of accepted presentations will be published in Gait &
    Posture.
