Job posting: Senior Comfort Biomechanist/ Ergonomics Specialist

Lear Corporation, a leading supplier of automotive interiors with
headquarters in Southfield, Michigan is looking for qualified candidates for
a senior position analyzing automotive seat comfort. The ideal candidate
will have a Master's in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Biomechanics, Bioengineering or some related field (or a Bachelor's with
minimum five years experience), and be strong in statistics (with a good
understanding of psychometric sampling issues), biomechanics, and
ergonomics. Experience with one or more commercial ergonomics packages
(JACK, RAMSIS, etc.) is a strong plus, as is familiarity with SPSS. Strong
presentation and writing skills are a must. A strong research bent is also
desired, as the candidate will be expected to improve current methodologies,
and not merely perform rote analysis. This position is currently open and
we hope to identify the best candidate quickly for immediate employment.
Faculty members: Please help your qualified graduate students be aware of
    this posting!!
