I am interested in posture and muscular activity, at present I need
information regarding best method in placing Surface-electrode at trunk
muscles (i.e thorac and lumbar erector spinae, obliquus abdominis ext and
int, rectus abdomini, and lattisimus dorsi.)
Please kindly help me with advise and explanation on it.
I also heard that McGill, Joseph Ng and Kippers published paper regarding
the matter, however I don't know precisely the title.
May be anybody can give me information about it.
I will be gratefull for any information.

I, too, would be interested in knowing what you find from the listserve.
There is a text on surface EMG by Cram and Kasman Introduction to Surface
EMG, published by ASPEN that gives some guidelines and recommendations.

An excellent reference is in the text:
Cram, J.R., Kasman, G.S. (1998). Introduction to surface electromyography.
Gaithersberg, MD: Aspen Publishers, Inc.
Book may be found at: http://www.aspenpub.com
This book has great pictorials and specific sits for muscles of the
abdominals. I have used it for the rectus abdominis and external oblique
sites.

You might look at the book "Anatomical Guide for the Electromyographer: The
Limbs and Trunk," by Aldo Perotto (third edition) from Charles C. Thomas,
Springfield, Illinois, USA. (Earlier editions listed the authors as
Delagi, Perotto, Iazzetti and Morrison).
