Greetings all!
I am working on a model of the upper limb of a worker in an industrial food processing job. Measuring/predicting the externally applied loads at the hands is of course a challenge, and one which doesn't appear in the literature to be one easily over come.
My lit review to date has found some kinetic models predicting upper limb joint loads in wheel chair propulsion and one with floor mopping. I would appreciate it if any of the list members know of any other studies where the loads applied to the hands have been accurately measured and used with kinematics to predict joint loads, in particular with tool use.
