Dear Biomch-L Readers,
I am please to inform you that a FULL dataset (including FULL documentation and validation, medical
imaging, 3D bone models in various format including finite element, raw and registered kinematics
and 3D simulation) created by the VAKHUM project is available from:
http://www.ulb.ac.be/project/vakhum
(click on the "Full VAKHUM dataset" link).
Please, feel free to use it for your own applications (but do not forget the copyright for
commercial applications).
We would be very happy to hear from you and your experience with our data: not only to receive
congratulations (of course!), but mainly to learn more about the problems you met when dealing with
it. So, please send us some feedback.
On the other hand, please, read the "VAKHUM User's Guide" (available from the DOC section of the
above link) VERY carefully before contacting us: this guide tried to be self-explicatory, but we
are of course still opened to questions which answers would not be clearly described in the guide.
Please, also note that the User's Guide also contains the email address and the name of the
scientists you should contact in case of problems.
We do hope you will enjoy this first set of data (yes, others are in preparation) !!
For the VAKHUM project.
Serge VAN SINT JAN
PS: you will probably note that (for the time being) the system will not ask you for any username
and password. This could change in the future.
