I wanted to briefly add to the comments of Rick Hinrichs about the passing
of Jim Hay. Jim was a great help to me as a young professor and was also a
close friend who is sorely missed. His advice to me on research matters
was invaluable. Jim's obvious passion for biomechanics research at many
different levels was evident when discussing papers in journal club and
when discussing ideas over a meal or a drink. I join Rick, Bing Yu and
others in the biomechanics community in expressing sorrow for our loss.
Warren
