In the Gaitlab at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Heidelberg, we
examine the gait of patients with a variety of gait handicaps. Besides the
clinical routine, the lab has a strong scientific focus. Currently we are
seeking a Research Assistant for a project on the upper extremity.
The candidate should have a strong background in engineering or physics with
interest in the field of biomechanics for the participation in scientific
projects and development of biomechanical models. Computer skills are
essential and programming experience in Matlab is an advantage.
The position is offered on a two year basis with the possibility of
prolongation. The realization of a Ph.D. thesis is possible. The pay scale
BATIIa/2 is applied for the position as research associate. The actual
