    Part of the joint meeting of the German, Dutch, Spanish, British &
    Irish anatomical Societies, 29 to 31 March 2003, hosted by the Anatomische
    Gesellschaft which follows on from our successful symposium at the European
    Society of Biomechanics meeting in Dublin in 2000
