Dear Mr. Smith,
I've been using Flock of Birds electromagnetic tracking device for
collecting position/angular and velocity/acceleration data in order to
analyze wheelchair users posture with the ausilium of labview software.
Labview allows you both to collect (you can directly control the flock
through the serial port) and analyse data at the same time with one program.
The recording time is not an issue.
You can find a description of the first part of this work in:
Sprigle S, Wootten M, Bresler M, Flinn N. Development of a non-invasive
measure of pelvic and hip angles in seated posture. Arch Phys Med Rehabil,
83: Nov 2002, in press

Best Regards,
Zimi Sawacha
