Department titles

Hi all,
Our department title is Physical and Health Education. We are
considering changing the title. Within our department we offer
undergrad majors in athletic training, fitness/sport management, and
physical education (teaching). We are in the College of Education, and
education comprises a large number of students at SVSU.

We have considered Kinesiology, Movement and Sport Science Education,
Exercise and movement Science, among others. I would like to get
information from those who have changed department titles recently.
Specifically, what was the previous title, and what was the rationale
for changing the title?
