Four bar kinematics

We are presently studying invivo knee kinematics and would like to
compare our results to the kinematic behavior predicted by the clasical
four-bar linkage. Although we could derive the equations ourselves (:->),
we were hoping to locate and reference a previous work that
explicitly develops these equations and applies them to the knee. Does
anyone know of such a reference?
