Shoe Materials Testing

Dear BIOMCH-L Members,



We are currently involved in a study that is focusing on
obtaining different compression values and time to peak forces for a
number of name brand shoes. The data is being collected using a force
platform during the heel strike phase of gait. There does not seem to
be much literature concerning different types of compression materials
(i.e. air pockets) amongst these companies. Has anyone performed
similar research or can put me in touch with some of the related
literature. Your help would be extremely appreciated. Thank you in
advance.
