    GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP POSITIONS
    SCHOOL OF HPER - UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA AT OMAHA

    The HPER Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Nebraska at Omaha has
    assistantship positions available for the Fall of 2003. Students in the
    program have a variety of backgrounds including bioengineering, physical
    therapy, physical education, biology, exercise science, and mathematics.
    DEGREE OFFERED
    Master of Science with major in Exercise Science (emphasis in
    Biomechanics).
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Duties include data collection for research, laboratory maintenance,
    calibration of equipment,
    assisting (teaching laboratories and partially grading) in classes such as
    Graduate Advanced Biomechanics, Undergraduate Biomechanics, and Physiology
    and Anatomy.
    Research projects can range from laboratory funded projects to academic
    research pursuits.
    STIPEND
    $9,797 for the 9-month academic year plus tuition waiver
