Programs in Rehabilitation Sciences
The Programs in Rehabilitation Sciences invites applications for a 12-month
tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate must have a doctorate
degree and the ability to contribute to the Program's research initiatives,
pursue external grant funding and mentor graduate student research.
Applicants should have expertise in biomechanics with a research focus in the
musculoskeletal system. Teaching experience is necessary in biomechanics and
kinesiology.
The Programs in Rehabilitation Sciences have a nationally recognized and
diverse faculty and offers the entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy,
Post-Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy, and PhD degree.
The Programs as part of MCP Hahnemann University merged into Drexel University
in July, 2002 creating research synergies in biomedical engineering,
information sciences, medicine, and the health sciences. The Programs have
well-equipped laboratories that include three motion analysis systems, two
force plates, two EMG systems, and a KinCom machine.
Academic rank and a competitive salary are commensurate with experience. The
