    Our Numerical Modeling group seeks a Senior Mechanical Modeling Engineer
    (Req. number 30374) to provide numerical modeling support to meet increasing
    demands from all Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business units for
    developing advanced implantable medical devices. The responsibilities
    include developing technical strategies, creating numerical models,
    performing numerical modeling analyses, and conducting physical tests
    required to support the mechanical relevant activities in CRM product
    development, manufacturing, and other business activities.

    Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Material, Applied
    Mechanics, Biomedical, and three-five years of relevant engineering
    experience, or Master of Science with a minimum of two years working
    experiences in safety-related mechanical system design and analysis. Strong
    background and hands-on skills in CAD and FEA. Intensive working knowledge
    of mechanical failure modes and analysis.

    Preferred Requirements: Five plus years industrial experience in mechanical
    design and nonlinear FEA modeling and simulation. Have strong problem
    solving skills with extensive work experience in using some of the following
    commercial software: ABAQUS, ProE, SDRC-IDEAS, PATRAN, ANSYS, MARC,
    AUTOCAD, etc. Experience in material modeling of high strength alloys and
    polymer or rubber. Knowledge or experience in mechanical and material
    testing. Solid background of applied mechanics. Knowledge of product
    development process, manufacturing concepts and methods. Demonstrated
    project management skills and the ability to work on multiple assignments
    required. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to
    successfully interface with multiple departments and teams are a must.
