    Programs in Rehabilitation Sciences
    Drexel University

    The Programs in Rehabilitation Sciences invite applications for a 12-month
    full-time faculty position in the area of Orthopedics. The Programs in
    Rehabilitation Sciences have a 21-year tradition as part of MCP Hahnemann
    University. The recent merger of MCP Hahnemann University with Drexel
    University has created a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University with innovation
    in health sciences, neuroscience, engineering and information sciences. The
    Programs in Rehabilitation Sciences have a nationally recognized and diverse
    faculty. Academic programs include the entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy
    (DPT), Post-Professional DPT, and a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences with
    concentrations in orthopedics, movement science and pediatrics.

    The position is for an individual with clinical expertise in Orthopedic
    rehabilitation. This individual will have primary responsibilities for courses
    in the entry-level DPT and Post-Professional DPT. The ability to contribute
    to faculty practice and clinical research are important selection criteria.
    Qualifications: earned clinical/academic Doctorate preferred, post
    professional Masters with clinical specialty and teaching experience
    considered; eligible for PT licensure in Pennsylvania; 3 years clinical
    experience. The appointment may be for either tenure or educator track.

    The Programs have fully equipped laboratories in biomechanics, movement
    analysis and motor learning. Clinical and research opportunities are
    available in local facilities. In addition, the Programs offer state of the
